What is Quant?
Quant is a Discord bot that turns everyday activity into a game. Each member keeps a personal streak by doing one small, consistent thing per day: posting a photo in the streak channel, or reaching their text-message goal.
Streaks are global — one chain per person, followed across every server Quant joins. The result is a community that shows up every day, not just on event nights.
Daily Streak
A streak is the count of consecutive days a member keeps their chain alive. Claim the day by sending a photo in the configured streak channel or hitting the daily text goal — Quant confirms with a reaction and a reply.
If someone misses a day, the streak doesn't vanish instantly: a grace period gives them time, and shields can absorb the miss entirely.
XP System
Every successful claim awards XP — more for longer streaks. XP is the long-term score: it never resets, so the members who keep showing up build an unshakable lead.
Levels
XP maps to levels with a gentle curve: early levels come fast, later ones demand consistency. Levels show in profile cards and the global leaderboard, so progress is always visible.
Shields
Every new member receives a shield. If a day is missed past the grace period, the shield is consumed instead of the streak — real protection for real life.
Reminders
Admins choose a reminder hour and a threshold. Quant DMs members who are close to losing their streak — quietly, once per day, and only to those who want it.
Built for every timezone
Each server sets its own timezone and language (English or العربية). Days roll over at that server's midnight, and reminders respect it too.
Why Quant exists
Discord servers die from silent inconsistency — not big drama. Quant exists to give communities a light, friendly daily ritual: something small to do together, a chain worth not breaking, and a scoreboard that makes consistency visible and fun.
